Prelude and Terzetto from ‘I Lombardi’ (arr. violin and piano) (Verdi)
An adaptation of the famous violin solo from the Prelude and Final Trio of Act III of Verdi’s I Lombardi.
This new edition incorporates Arturo Toscanini’s extended version of the solo violin part which he composed for his violinist friend, Enrico Polo, in 1888.
David Vine has edited and organised the work into an impressive recital piece for violin and piano.
The work was recorded by Radio New Zealand Concert with Benjamin Morrison (violin) and David Vine (piano).
The set consists of a score [13p.] and solo violin part [7p.].
